DB15 to OBD2 16-Pin Adapter for DBScar VII / SmartLink C
$44.99
SKU: SW-DB15-OBD16-709569
Categories: Automotive, Car Gadgets & Appliances
A replacement connector for your diagnostic cable
This DB15-to-OBD2 16-pin adapter is a separate connection piece for a compatible diagnostic main cable used with DBScar VII or SmartLink C. Choose it when you need the pictured red replacement connector rather than a complete cable or diagnostic device. Each unit contains one adapter.
Compare both ends before choosing
The DB15 male end has three rows of contacts; the other end is an OBD2 16-pin male connector. Match the connector layout to the cable you already have. A matching device name alone does not establish that every cable version will fit.
A physical connection, without standalone diagnostics
The adapter forms part of the connection between a matching diagnostic cable and the vehicle’s OBD2 socket. It does not read or clear fault codes by itself. Diagnostic operations depend on the compatible equipment and software used with it.
What is included
You receive one red adapter with a black textured centre and a silver retaining clip. The black main cable, VCI device and scanner tablet are not included.

Questions before ordering
Is this a complete diagnostic main cable?
No. Each unit contains one red replacement adapter only. The black main cable is not included.
Can this adapter diagnose a vehicle on its own?
No. It is a physical connector and has no standalone diagnostic function. Use it with a matching diagnostic cable and compatible equipment.
How do I check that it is the right connector?
Compare your existing cable with the product photos. This adapter has a three-row DB15 male end and an OBD2 16-pin male end, for matching cables used with DBScar VII or SmartLink C.
