Wired phone integration through the original system
The CARABC P2 is a USB-hub retrofit kit for adding wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to a compatible original Mazda/MZD Connect system. It uses the vehicle’s existing display for supported phone navigation, calls and music. This is an installed hub kit, rather than a replacement dashboard screen. The model is also identified as DMZD-01.

Connect by cable and keep familiar controls
This configuration provides a wired phone connection. With the kit installed in a compatible system, it supports the original control knob and steering-wheel controls shown for the vehicle system. Use the compatible phone’s CarPlay or Android Auto functions; the car, phone and existing display are not part of the kit.

Is this a wireless adapter?
No. This P2 configuration provides wired CarPlay and Android Auto. Do not select it on the assumption that it provides a wireless phone connection.
How do I check whether it fits my car?
