Compact switching for an existing wall switch
The SONOFF MINIR4 adds app-controlled switching to a compatible wired circuit while retaining an external wall-switch input. Use eWeLink to turn the connected load on or off and set schedules. It is a mini relay module for buyers who have a neutral wire available and want to check the electrical rating and space behind the switch before choosing. The case measures 39.5 × 33 × 16.8 mm; allow room for the wiring as well as the module.
External switch input and detach relay mode
The S1/S2 input supports compatible momentary, latching and SPDT switches, as well as compatible dry-contact sensors. In detach relay mode, an external switch input is separated from the relay output state, so operating that input does not directly turn the connected load off. This can be useful when arranging smart-light controls. S1/S2 are switch inputs: they do not turn the mains output into a voltage-free relay output.
Check the circuit before choosing
This MINIR4 requires a neutral wire. Its rated input and output are 100–240 V AC, 50/60 Hz, with a maximum 10 A resistive load. The resistive rating should not be treated as a universal rating for motors or other inductive loads. It connects to 2.4 GHz IEEE 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi. Check the supply, load, neutral conductor and enclosure space before ordering; installation and wiring should follow the model manual and be performed by a qualified electrician.

Each unit contains one SONOFF MINIR4 module. The pictured retail box identifies the model. Wall switches, lamps, mounting boxes and optional external transmitters are not part of an accessory bundle. This listing has one MINIR4 configuration, with no color or model option to select.

Questions before choosing
Does the MINIR4 need a neutral wire?
Yes. The MINIR4 requires a neutral conductor at its installation point. It is not a no-neutral switch. Check the circuit and follow the MINIR4 wiring instructions.
Can it connect to 5 GHz Wi-Fi?
It uses 2.4 GHz IEEE 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi. A 5 GHz-only network does not meet that requirement. Setup and app control use eWeLink.
Can I keep my existing wall switch?
A compatible momentary, latching or SPDT switch can connect to the external switch input. Check the switch type and wiring against the MINIR4 manual. The wall switch is not included.
Does 10 A apply to every kind of load?
The stated maximum is 10 A for a resistive load at 100–240 V AC, 50/60 Hz. Do not apply that value to every motor or inductive load; confirm the specific load before selecting the module.
Is this the Matter-enabled MINIR4M?
No. This is model MINIR4. MINIR4M is a separate model; Matter support is not claimed for this product.
Are remote controls or extra modules included?
No. One unit contains one MINIR4 module. External wall switches, lamps, mounting boxes and optional transmitters shown in demonstrations are not included.
