This foldable digital meat thermometer checks food temperature with a 304 stainless steel probe. Use it for spot checks during barbecuing, roasting, baking and everyday cooking, then fold the clean probe for storage. One thermometer is supplied.
Check the food, not just its surface
Unfold the probe and place it in the thickest part of the food, away from bone. For thin foods such as burgers, insert from the side towards the centre. Wait for the reading to settle and compare it with the recommended internal temperature for that food. Colour alone is not a reliable guide to doneness.
Understand range and resolution
The measuring range is −50°C to 300°C, with a display resolution of 0.1°C / 0.1°F. Resolution describes the size of the displayed steps, not a ±0.1° accuracy guarantee. The nominal response time is 3–4 seconds; wait for a stable reading rather than relying only on elapsed time. The measuring range is not a heat-resistance rating for the handle.
Care and storage between checks
Use the thermometer for brief checks and remove it after reading. Do not leave the handle in an oven, on a hot grill or in food throughout cooking. Clean the probe after use and between different foods, keep the handle dry and do not soak it. It uses a 1.5 V button battery; fold the dry probe before storing or hanging by the red loop.

Food thermometer questions
Can I leave it in the oven?
No. Use it for a brief food-temperature check and remove it after taking the reading. The handle should stay away from prolonged oven or grill heat.
Does 0.1° resolution mean ±0.1° accuracy?
No. Resolution is the step shown on the display. It does not establish the measurement error or a calibrated accuracy tolerance.
Where should I place the probe?
In the thickest part of the food, away from bone. For thin foods, enter from the side to reach the centre. Wait for the reading to settle.
How should I clean it?
Clean the probe after each use and between different foods. Keep the handle dry, do not soak it and fold the probe only after cleaning and drying.
What is included and how is it powered?
One foldable digital food thermometer. It uses a 1.5 V button battery; battery supply and the exact replacement code are not specified. Food, trays, tongs and cloths in the pictures are not included.
